    Seminar “Organic Agriculture in the Classroom”

    The annual seminar for organic agriculture in the classroom , where teachers of organic agriculture from technical schools and HBLAs across Austria can network with researchers, consultants and farmers on organic agriculture, will take place this year from April 25th to 26th, 2024 at which the HBLFA -Tirol and the LFS Rotholz take place.

    Main focus of the seminar “Organic Agriculture in Classes 2024”

    • “Country knowledge – knowledge about the country” – find teaching materials online
    • Humus balancing tool for teaching – crop rotation planning, circular economy
    • Exchange between the organic teachers - organic teaching ideas from practice
    • Requirements for organic cheese production and marketing
    • Sensory assessment of cheese – practical exercise
    • Excursion – organic hay milk without concentrated feed, cow-based calf rearing, etc.
    • Evening meeting – personal exchange
    • 24 organic specialist stations on current organic topics – Organic Livestock Day
