    Successful webinar: Raumberg-Gumpenstein farm animal protection conference

    In mid-May 2020, the traditional livestock protection conference took place at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, which was held as a webinar for the first time this year for the occasion. Well-known speakers from home and abroad offered an interesting program to around 150 online participants.

    Current topics in animal protection and essential specialist information for the application of animal protection regulations in practice were conveyed and connections between the husbandry environment, animal health, stable climate and procedural aspects in livestock farming were shown. This year, the conference was dedicated, among other things, to the topics of digitalization and animal welfare, food marketing in the area of ​​tension, stress-free farm slaughter, protection of sheep in alpine pastures, as well as animal behavior and stable climate aspects in cattle and pig farming.
