After the welcome from the head of the organic grassland and arable farming department, Dr. Walter Starz began the tour of the sweet potato cultivation experiments. All relevant aspects were discussed on site and the visitors were very interested in the new culture. This was followed by an excursus on the subject of field fodder, which plays an important role in organic farming.
Ms. Bärbel Eisenmann was welcomed as a special guest by the cooperation partner LfL Bayern. The visitors listened with great interest to detailed reports on the practical cultivation of legumes in Bavaria.
Finally, the winter grain trials were inspected and participants' questions were answered.
