Monitoring of selected alpine sites in the Gesäuse National Park with regard to soil and phytodiversity under the influence of climate change

Goals of the project:

  • Investigation of the impact of changes in agricultural use and the influence of climate change on phytodiversity
  • Nature conservation assessment of alpine ecosystems and comparison of alpine locations used at different levels of intensity
  • Evaluation of the Alpine pasture management plan for the Gesäuse National Park, if necessary management recommendations for the upgrading and preservation of the cultural landscape
  • Data basis for model calculations
