Land4Water - green spaces instead of concrete deserts!

Land4Water - green spaces instead of concrete deserts!

Best practice for World Water Day!

Although temperatures are rising, flooding is also increasing. A good option for natural retention areas are green spaces with different uses. These “green infrastructures” enable the preservation of biodiversity and agricultural use as fodder areas or bedding for farm animals. The HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein is involved in climate-adapted land use to protect (groundwater) resources and flood protection in the region. The flowering meadows at the foot of the Grimming are a prime example of the interaction between flood protection, agriculture and nature conservation.
