Delegation of the partners LfL and Naturland from Bavaria in Lambach

On July 12th, the joint attempts at cooperation between the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein and the LfL Bayern were examined on site in Lambach. Naturland organic advice was also there. These trials are currently underway as part of the “BioFieldFood” project on the Bio-Institut website. In addition to the location in Ruhstorf/Rott (D) and Lambach, these are supplemented by locations on practical farms in Bavaria. Experiments were carried out in the spring with lentils mixed with various types of grain, oil linseed and camelina at different seed rates. There are also numerous varieties of dry beans as well as breeding lines from Slovenia and, for the first time, a colorful selection of chickpeas with a wide variety of varieties. The experiments on chickpea cultivation are integrated into a large network of locations throughout Germany and Switzerland. In addition, other tests carried out at the site were visited and a good, professional exchange was maintained.
