Early in the morning, the chairman of the staff representative, Matthias Kandolf, drove with our employees to our ministry on Stubenring in Vienna. For some employees it was their first visit to our superior office at the end of their careers.
Our minister Mag. Norbert Totschnig found very appreciative, praising and appropriate words for all employees from the various departments of our ministry in an entertaining ceremony. He emphasized the importance of agriculture, but also of torrent control and other sectors in increasingly difficult times.
Afterwards there was a drink and our staff representatives invited the honorees to lunch in Vienna before they started their journey home in the early afternoon.
