For optimal preparation, the piglets must be fed in a timely manner. The aim of the project is to investigate the feed intake behavior of piglets and sows during the nursing period in different free housing systems. The piglets are fed in different places on the floor (lying area, activity area, piglet nest area). The parameters of weight development of the piglets, feed intake of the sows and piglets (g or kg/day), working time requirements and behavior (synchronous eating, mutual learning) are examined.
