The research project is part of the research project “Grassland soils in Austria – influence of management on carbon stocks and other soil parameters” (No. 101589). This project was approved by the BMLRT and therefore documents a high level of practical relevance. The research project is intended to provide the basis for estimating changes in soil carbon stocks in permanent grassland under management and thus improve the greenhouse gas inventory in the land use sector in the grassland sub-category.
