We can also cultivate Rhaponticum carthamoides used in the mixture Preliminary tests by HAGMÜLLER et al. An herbal mixture “HERBENTEROSAN” was used for the examination, which is intended to serve as a prophylaxis for post-natal diarrhea. In this experiment, the effect of galacturonides from apples and the effect of a lignocellulose product on diarrhea in piglets is tested in comparison to the herbal mixture “HERBENTEROSAN”. An assessment is made based on the following parameters: live mass gain, feed conversion, faecal score and haptoglobin content in the serum. The aim of the study is to reduce the proportion of animals with diarrhea after weaning.
