The 2016 curriculum forms the basis for instruction in all year groups at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein from the 2020/2021 school year onwards. It was published as a regulation of the Ministry of Education in the Federal Law Gazette Part II Number 201 in 2016 and is based on the School Education Act (BGBl. 643/1994 as amended) and the Federal Agricultural and Forestry School Act (BGBl. 175/1966 as amended).

The specialized parts of the regulation for agriculture, advanced training course for agriculture and environmental and resource management are presented in the numbered annexes to the main document.

Schools may deviate from the prescribed curriculum by decisions of the school community committee. These decisions include the distribution of weekly teaching hours across all subjects.
