Music is highly valued in Raumberg. Anyone who arrives in Raumberg with prior musical and instrumental experience has the opportunity to pursue their passion in groups such as the brass band, the school choir, folk music groups, or individually at the piano. The Gröbming Music School also offers music lessons for those eager to learn who haven't yet played an instrument.

As part of the school curriculum, insights into modern research are made possible through the teaching of scientific students. They offer current, first-hand knowledge and are available to answer subject-specific questions and supervise theses.

Our school is a qualified test center for the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) and its next level, ECDL Advanced. We offer free exam preparation to anyone who has only partially completed the seven ECDL modules or none at all. The digital exams can be taken at our school.

As preparation for the official hunting examination, an elective course is offered by an experienced forestry and wildlife ecologist. If the candidate wishes to actually take the examination, they are responsible for covering the costs and fees for official procedures and exercises. The minimum age for taking the exam is 16.

Obtaining a tractor driving license is highly recommended before the extensive practical training between the 3rd and 4th year. Training for this and other driving license categories is conducted on the school premises by an external driving school. Group rates make the prices attractive.

The processes within a company – commercial register, organization, communication and correspondence, business transactions and complaints, accounting and cost accounting – are simulated in our practice firms. The Business Administration Center, designed as a modern open-plan office, provides a realistic setting for this.

At the boarding school, students have the opportunity to participate in numerous creative activities to fill their free time. Textile work, drawing and painting, airbrushing, and modeling with plaster or clay are all popular.

Before their graduation ball, but also in the lead-up to local events, balls, and social gatherings, our students greatly appreciate being taught dance skills, appropriate dress codes, and impeccable manners. Regional dance schools come to our school for this purpose.

The social work team of the boarding school, the school management and teachers, the psychologist and the school doctor are always available to work together with those affected and their parents to get a handle on any problems or personal crises that may have arisen.

The enjoyment of sport and exercise is fostered through compulsory lessons as well as elective activities. These include volleyball, football, and rock climbing.
