Limnology and fishing

During our lessons, we are allowed to fish at the school's own biotope and at the fish ponds of the Rieger fish restaurant in Trautenfels; by arrangement, we may also fish at the club waters of the Irdning fishing club.

"Learning by Doing" is the motto, and in addition to teaching basic fishing techniques, it is also about experiencing nature, getting to know the species and techniques, and handling fish gently while fishing.

The outdoor activity, learning from each other, and the expected and unexpected events while fishing are intended to consciously provide a relaxing and enriching counterpoint to compulsory lessons.

And maybe someone will discover their favorite hobby...
