Understanding conflicts – shaping solutions

Theatre workshop on June 17, 2026

As part of a theatre workshop conducted by Theatre for All under the motto "Theatre – Making it tangible," class 2U had the opportunity to gain new experiences and work creatively together. Through various theatre pedagogy exercises, role-playing and improvisation games, openness, communication skills and expressiveness were fostered.

The focus was on the dramatic portrayal of conflict situations and the collaborative development of solution strategies. The students explored topics such as closeness and distance, communication, body language, and facial expressions. In various role-playing scenarios, they took on different roles, observed group dynamics, and collaboratively developed solutions for challenging situations.

Working with conflict scenarios, in particular, demonstrated how changing roles, language, and actions can prevent negative developments and lead to constructive solutions. The varied exercises fostered not only creativity but also perception, empathy, and respectful interaction.

The energetic exercises and the shared closing ritual created a positive group experience and encouraged participants to perceive and reflect on different perspectives and viewpoints. The workshop allowed the young people to experience theatre in a variety of ways and to actively participate in shaping scenes and problem-solving processes.
