The entire class worked in six subgroups on various topics related to making the school and research more climate-friendly.
The class was divided into different groups:
- Electricity measurements,
- Mobility,
- Monitoring,
- Heat measurements,
- renewable energies and
- Photovoltaic systems.
After we had collected and processed all the data, we were able to present the project results together with our project partner Dipl.-Ing. Dipl.-Päd. Karl Heinz Pertl (employee of the company “Siemens”) at the HBLFA Schönnbrunn to the representatives of the Ministry, Ministerial-Rätin Ingrid Wohlfahrt, Ing. Franz Kesner and Department Head Mag. Christian Kasper.
Following a successful presentation, we were also given a guided tour of the Federal Gardens in Schönbrunn, where we learned more about botany. We were able to get a good impression of the exotic collection of tropical and subtropical plants.
Finally, we would like to thank our project partner Dipl.-Ing. Dipl.-Päd. Karl Heinz Pertl as well as our project teachers MMag. Gernot Schwab and Msc. Lena Sonnleitner for their support.
