Kingfisher returned?

Most projects are carried out according to plan, completed, and forgotten. However, some achieve long-term success: When the project "Where it crawls and creeps" was launched on May 28, 2019, by the then 4b class, one aspect of this teaching project was the construction of nesting tubes for kingfishers

It is always difficult to assess the success of such work because the results lie far in the future. However, the fact that a young male kingfisher and a female have been consistently present near one of these nesting burrows for the past few weeks can be considered a strong indication of the project's success .

A photographic record of this success is surely one of the nicest forms of recognition one can give to all those involved in the project! Many thanks to the project team at the time and to Kurt Krimberger, who provided us with his perfect snapshot.
