We too were privileged to be part of this exciting visit from Senegal. On Friday, July 1, 2022, Amady Sow and Noella Thiaw came to the school and, as part of a workshop with the students, gave them an interesting insight into life and work in Senegal.
Topics discussed included the climate crisis, political unrest, and rising prices due to the war in Ukraine: In the afternoon, Amady and Noella visited the research area, and a valuable exchange of experiences took place.
