Matriculation exam

As part of the oral school leaving examination, the subject "Special livestock farming" can be selected according to the 2004 curriculum and the Matura regulations since 2008/2009.

Thesis

The diploma thesis is a written specialist paper that can be written in the last year of training. The students choose the topic themselves, which means they can also choose horse topics. So far, numerous students have already made use of this option.

Items “Livestock Husbandry” and “Agricultural Specialties”

The basics of horse keeping, feeding and ethology are covered here. A more in-depth treatment of specific topics relating to horses (such as therapy horses,...) is also possible.

Free subject horse keeping and riding

In the optional riding subject, students have the opportunity to deepen their knowledge at riding establishments in the area. Trained riding instructors are available to students; Transport to the riding stables is organized by the school.

Those interested also have the opportunity to take the “Bronze Driving Badge” every two years.
