The idea was adopted by Ingrid Peyrer and Christian Forstner from the Augustinum Episcopal Campus in Graz; it originally comes from the Tyrolean Bishop Hermann Glettler. As of today, the first heart-shaped bus stop is located in the school's entrance area. It will change location weekly – the next stop is the school chapel (main train station).
Each week there are new short reflections, and Advent leaflets are available for free. We hope that many will use these heartfelt moments as a brief respite in their school day and thus journey through Advent step by step.
HEART STOP POINT
A place to arrive.
Where people listen, arms open
and hearts are open.
A place that says: You are welcome.
In a world that is constantly accelerating, we need
more than ever –
countless heart-shaped bus stops.
Time to breathe.
To find peace.
On being human.
But it's not places, it's people who are the heart's anchor point for each other.
according to Bishop Hermann Glettler
