Monday:

We, the 1L, spent three wonderful, eventful days in Salzburg. On Monday we were allowed to visit three companies. In the morning we drove to the Atomic factory in Altenmarkt im Pongau , where we were able to learn how the ski is assembled from many different raw materials. At lunchtime we drove to the Liebherr factory in Bischofshofen . There they explained to us the history of the family business. During the subsequent tour through the machine manufacturing rooms, we learned a lot about production. As the last point of the day we visited Heli Austria . There we were able to get to know the helicopters better and the tasks they have to carry out every day.

Tuesday:

On the second day we went to Hohensalzburg Fortress , where we enjoyed many great viewpoints. Among other things, we walked through the fortress and got historical insights into former life. Afterwards we were allowed to go into the old town on our own and treat ourselves to Salzburg delicacies. After sightseeing and culture, we contented ourselves with karting at KartWorld Salzburg . Everyone enjoyed the exciting rides! In the late afternoon we visited the STOFF'N organic mushroom farm in Schleedorf . The often unknown topic made us even more curious to look into the world of mushroom cultivation. We went back to the accommodation with a lot of knowledge and educational facts.

Wednesday:

On Wednesday we left the city of Salzburg and drove to Henndorf am Wallersee to the Woerle cheese dairy . The large company gave us interesting insights (led by a Raumberg graduate) into the world of cheese. We were able to follow everything from cheese making to bottling to packaging. Afterwards there was also a tasting of the various products. Finally we went on to Bad Ischl , where we enjoyed the afternoon in the sun spa gardens At the end we can say that it was three wonderful and fun days that definitely strengthened class cohesion and gave us a break from learning after the busy school year!
