Crop rotation planning in the classroom

Taking into account the diversity of plant families, genera, and species, as well as the crop rotation breaks for self-incompatible plants, crop rotations are planned as a team. Within a main crop rotation, the suitability of which is to be evaluated, cover crops or cover crop mixtures are planned, considering planting and harvesting times. These can be sown as stubble or undersown crops. The intended use of the cover crops must be specified (biogas plants, flowering areas, green manure, forage crops, fodder, bee pasture, frost-killed mulch, etc.). The results produced in the group work for the subject "Agricultural Production" are presented and discussed with the entire class.
