Acquisition of the bronze driving badge in carriage driving

The Austrian Driving Badge in Bronze (ÖFAB) carriage driving course . This badge is a prerequisite for driving a carriage on public roads and transporting passengers. Three students (Christina Lechner, Anna Hager, and Jessica Kopp) and Brigitte Schachner-Neuper from our school, organized by Franz Luidold, started the theoretical training with practice on dummy reins to quickly learn the correct techniques.

Afterwards, in Steinbach am Ziehberg, they met the horses Bella and Miraus, who proved to be the best teachers in front of the carriage box. Although these horses weren't always the easiest, the drives became increasingly successful. After several sessions, our candidates felt confident, took their exams at the beginning of January, and all passed with flying colors.

The carriage driving course was an unforgettable experience for everyone. Without the support of their teacher Franz Luidold, who organized the course, and the highly dedicated driving instructor Erich Pürstinger from Steinbach am Ziehberg, who taught them everything in practice, they would not have mastered the bronze driving badge so successfully.

A big thank you also goes to the parents' association for their financial support. We thank everyone for their fantastic efforts and wish them safe journeys.

With support from Jessica Kopp and Franz Luidold
