Pasture grazing and milking robots

Pasture grazing and milking robots

Pasture grazing plays a particularly important role in organic farming. Milking robots are also gaining in importance here. Current research and practical examples demonstrate that this technology can work well with pasture grazing. We present two farms with pasture grazing and automatic milking systems.

The ÖAG information sheet "Organic pasture farming and AMS - How it works" summarizes what is important in terms of construction, technology, feeding, herd management and pasture management when combining AMS and pasture.
