Development of spatial and functional programs for agricultural animal husbandry (especially for pigs, poultry and horses)

Development and testing of techniques for feeding, manure removal and housing, as well as evaluation of the process technology

Design of agricultural buildings for animal husbandry as well as development of alternative, animal-friendly, cost-effective and labor-efficient animal husbandry systems with pilot character and their testing including the necessary ethological studies

Testing, optimization and evaluation of computer-aided methods in pig, horse and poultry farming

Testing of novel housing facilities for pigs, poultry and horses in cooperation with the specialist agency for animal-friendly husbandry and animal welfare

Objectifying the conflict between animal welfare and livestock farming

Development of standards, technical guidelines, information sheets and recommendations in the field of agricultural construction and housing technology at the national and international level

Addressing issues in organic farming in the areas of animal husbandry and barn construction

Participation in national and international working groups
