In this episode of "Agricultural Science – Knowledge in Brief," Dr. Andreas Steinwidder speaks Steinwidder Scherzer DIin about various aspects of cattle breeding. Ms. Scherzer is a research associate at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein and is currently focusing, among other things, on organic cattle breeding. Proven approaches that are relevant to organic dairy farms in the context of breeding are discussed and explained in detail.

Bio-Austria is currently running an educational project entitled "Organic Cattle Breeding ." The webinar series begins on July 31, 2024. Accompanying podcasts are available, featuring Edina Scherzer in conversation with various experts. Workshops are also offered on farms.

All participants have the opportunity to discuss various ideas for cattle breeding and their own approaches directly in the barn and to develop targeted mating suggestions.
