Seminar participants will receive practical and theoretical instruction in the fundamentals of sensory feed evaluation using the new ÖAG scheme 2020. The focus will be on the practical sensory assessment of silage and hay samples using the new evaluation sheets to identify and classify quality defects. Furthermore, the impact of forage quality on ruminant feeding and other livestock will be discussed.
Bringing your own feed sample(s) for evaluation is encouraged.
