On Thursday, February 26, 2026, the annual Works Council Forum of the Styrian Chamber of Agricultural Workers at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein. Numerous participants took advantage of the opportunity for professional exchange and to learn about current developments.

After a relaxed arrival with coffee and cake, the event was officially opened by our Head of Research and Innovation, Andreas Steinwidder . In his welcoming remarks, he provided an overview of the current priorities and activities of our organization. This was followed by short presentations on relevant topics, which offered a solid foundation for further discussions.

At 12:15 pm, the group went to Raumberg for lunch . Afterwards, Direktor Johann Gasteiner led the group through the school building, providing insights into daily school life and the educational programs offered. The view from the veranda of the Grimming Hall was particularly impressive: In the splendid spring weather, a breathtaking panorama of the Enns Valley unfolded before them.

The afternoon was dedicated to internal training for the works council members in Gumpenstein. Afterwards, our LAK Styria President Eduard Zentner, Bernhard Krautzer, Walter Starz and Georg Terler presented the individual research areas and showcased current projects and key topics.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to Ms. Rosmarie Pirker of the Styrian Chamber of Agricultural Workers for the excellent cooperation, as well as for the perfect preparation and organization of the event, and we look forward to further joint activities.
