The focus of the visit was an intensive exchange with the Institute for Organic Agriculture and Biodiversity of Farm Animals at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein. In the morning, the research activities at the grassland and ruminant site in Trautenfels presented. In the afternoon, the arable farming trials at the organic site in Lambach/Stadl-Paura were on the agenda.
Throughout the visit, it became clear that both institutions see great potential for even closer collaboration. In an open and pleasant atmosphere, initial ideas for joint research projects and experimental collaborations were discussed.
The HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein looks forward to a deeper collaboration with the Institute for Organic Agriculture at BOKU and to numerous joint research activities in the field of organic agriculture.
