In Block III, between 1:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m., the complex issues surrounding alpine farming will be systematically addressed. We will present the results of the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) as well as brand-new findings on the widespread use of GPS collars. The discussion will then turn to the challenges facing alpine farming (results from the Tyrolean livestock protection project, tourism in hotspots, climate change) and examine the impact of these changes on both wildlife and humans. A panel discussion will conclude the block.

The conference can be attended in person or online. The registration deadline is November 10, 2022.
