Competence centre for organic farming of LfL Bavaria visits Bio Institute

The Bio-Institute of the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein has been working closely with the Competence Centre for Organic Farming of the LfL in Bavaria for many years.

To further strengthen this excellent cooperation, a workshop was held at the Bio-Institute in Trautenfels from July 25th to 26th, 2024. During this workshop, participants not only presented their respective areas of expertise but also agreed to further explore shared topics.

This will lead to even closer exchange in the future in the areas of organic cattle breeding, organic arable farming, organic livestock farming and organic grassland.

This close cooperation is intended to benefit the further development of organic farming in both countries, as the challenges are similar or even identical. The goal on both sides is to develop and establish solution-oriented and practical methods in organic farming and to support farms in their implementation.
