The course "Applied Animal Husbandry" is taught by lecturers from the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein. A number of experts from the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, coordinated by Dr. Elfriede Ofner-Schröck, convey course content on cattle, pig, sheep, and goat husbandry, animal breeding, animal nutrition, and the environmental impacts of agriculture. This comprehensive knowledge about the origin of food enables food managers to consciously select and pass on food produced to the highest standards to consumers, thereby supporting the valuable work of our farmers.
On January 26, 2024, students from the LEB22 cohort visited the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein as part of a field trip to gain insights into practical animal husbandry and current research projects. We thank them for their excellent cooperation and wish the students every success for the future.
