Hello documentary about soil and soil life

On June 30, 2022, at 8:15 p.m., Servus TV's PM-Wissen series featured another segment about Raumberg-Gumpenstein: Andreas Bohner and the Servus TV production team visited the grassland areas of the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein and the Trautenfels nature reserves managed by the Nature Conservation Association on May 25, 2022. They filmed footage on topics such as iris meadows, soil, soil organisms, soil functions, and soil quality. We are eager to see how this timelessly relevant topic will be presented.

Climate and soil are the most important production factors for agriculture: soils are habitats for plants, animals, and microorganisms. They produce food and feed, ensure clean drinking water, protect against flooding, store carbon, water, and plant nutrients, and provide energy and raw materials.

Therefore, soil, along with water and air, is among our most precious natural resources. This documentary aims to raise and deepen the awareness of interested viewers regarding this topic.

Unfortunately, the program is no longer available in the Servus TV media library.
