Review of the 1st TTU Conference (Animal-Technology-Environment)

An exciting new conference format now combines the topics of the previous Raumberg-Gumpenstein Construction Conference and the Emissions Conference once a year. This first conference for Animal – Technology – Environment (TTU Conference) took place on May 14th and 15th, 2024 at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein.

More than 100 participants from all German states, as well as Germany and Switzerland, were able to learn about sustainable barn construction using wood, emissions in the context of construction projects, mechanization and feeding, and the legal framework in a wide-ranging program. The program was rounded out by current topics regarding business opportunities, changes to the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP), and AI-supported systems for monitoring animal health in pigs and poultry. Another presentation addressed the positive effects of livestock farming on allergy prevention.

A particular concern of the organizing team was to promote professional exchange during the conference – thus, many conversations that began during the day could be continued at a relaxed evening event.

We are already looking forward to welcoming you back next May for a follow-up event!
