    Master’s course “Precision Animal Health” in Gumpenstein

    From 10th to 12th In June 2024, the HBLFA the lecture destination of an international group of students from the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna as part of the course “Current applications of precision animal health and smart farming” . As part of extensive theoretical and practical insights into the research work of our four research institutes, in-depth knowledge and incentives were passed on by a large number of researchers over 3 days. The clear focus was on innovative approaches with a view to digitalization opportunities and optimization of animal health in the livestock sector.

    In addition to Austria and Germany, students based in India, Nigeria, Guatemala and Pakistan, among others, showed great interest in the entire range of topics and so the network of the Raumberg-Gumpenstein research facility was coordinated by Ing. Irene Mösenbacher-Molterer and a group of young veterinary doctors and future scientists.
