Invitation to "Conference on Innovations in the Alpine Region"

As part of the conference “ Innovations in the Alpine Region ”, which will take place on April 8th and 9th, 2026 at the Innovation Centre of Traktorenwerk Lindner GmbH in Kundl (Tyrol) , our employee Alfred Pöllinger-Zierler will also give a technical presentation.

The conference focuses on innovative developments in agricultural production systems in the Alpine region and brings together experts from Austria, Switzerland, Bavaria, and South Tyrol. The emphasis is on current technical, operational, and digital solutions for mountain farming.

 

Alfred Pöllinger-Zierler ( HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein , Irdning-Donnersbachtal) will give a presentation on the topic of " Current Developments in Liquid Manure Application in Mountainous Regions." The presentation will highlight practical approaches, site-adapted methods, and new technical developments for efficient and environmentally sound liquid manure application in alpine regions.

Andreas Schaumberger will be speaking about the new SatGrass app - a tool for optimizing grassland yield and forage quality using satellite data for Austrian grassland areas.
