The Hohenlehen Agricultural College offers specializations in "Organic Farming" and "Sustainable Forestry". Therefore, it was important for the future farmers to become familiar with our research area so that they can contact the relevant experts with questions later in their professional lives.
Direktor Dr. Johann Gasteiner welcomed the teachers and graduating students and presented the areas of activity of research and the school. Michael Kropsch addressed the topic of "Agricultural Building as a Challenge," and Dr. Andreas Schaumberger gave an overview of "Crop Production." Roland Kitzer provided the students with key facts about "Experimental Farming.".
After an exciting tour through the research areas, the students went directly to Schladming for their planned ski course.
