HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein actively participates in GAP workshops on the future of agriculture

At the beginning of June, workshops on the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) from 2028 onwards, organized by the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Environment and Climate Protection (BMLUK), took place in Vienna. Around 400 representatives from agriculture, administration, science, interest groups and other organizations participated in the technical discussions on the future design of the CAP in Austria.

Dr. Andreas Steinwidder, Dr. Elfriede Ofner-Schröck, and Dr. Thomas Guggenberger participated in the workshops "Income and Farm Development" and "Environment and Climate," actively contributing their scientific expertise and experience to the discussions. The focus was on topics such as the future of agricultural businesses, environmental and climate protection, education and knowledge transfer, and the further development of practical and effective support measures.

The workshops made an important contribution to the dialogue on the future design of the CAP and enabled an intensive exchange between science, practice and politics.
