Glyphosate ban! New strategies for weed control

Due to the ban on glyphosate for field preparation, mechanical weed control is becoming increasingly important in our region. To facilitate this, many crops are sown in rows. However, row sowing is often difficult, especially with very fine, almost dust-like, or particularly light seeds. For this reason, these seeds are specially prepared.

We have two options available to us:

Incrustation weights down light seeds, significantly improving their flowability in the seed drill.
Pelleting the seeds greatly increases their volume, thus facilitating sowing.

Another positive effect of this modification is the water absorption of the shell, which means that the seedling has a better water supply during dry periods!
