Climate change is impacting agriculture! According to climate forecasts, temperatures will continue to rise, and rainfall will become less frequent and less evenly distributed. Adaptations to climate change must be carefully considered and implemented on farms with sound support. The existing close link between agricultural education, advisory services, research, and practical application is very helpful in this regard.

At the Federal Higher Education and Research Institute Raumberg-Gumpenstein, current climate adaptation knowledge has been compiled into an educational and consulting tool for practical application, consulting, and teaching. Climate-friendly practices in agriculture

Summarized into the areas of arable farming, forage crops, grassland, ruminants, manure management, and energy and farm management, we present concrete implementation options for climate-friendly practices in agriculture. We describe the interrelationships, advantages, and challenges. In addition, we provide a cost assessment of the measures for the farm.
