Through personal experiences and observations, children are given the opportunity to deepen their knowledge. Experiencing the needs of animals and the requirements for species-appropriate husbandry strengthens their understanding of sustainable and animal-friendly agriculture and their respect for animals as fellow creatures.
This year, as in previous years, a school class, the first grade of the NMS Weißenbach an der Enns, HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein as part of a field trip, accompanied by a certified animal welfare officer.
