The barn construction brochures “LTS 234: Barn Construction for Organic Livestock Farming: SHEEP” and “LTS 235: Barn Construction for Organic Livestock Farming: GOATS” have been published in a new edition. They provide a comprehensive information base for farmers who are confronted with barn construction measures in organic sheep and organic goat farming.
Through a coordination process between the agricultural chambers' building advisory service, BIO AUSTRIA, research institutions, and the Federal Ministry of Labour, Social Affairs, Health, Care and Consumer Protection, the new regulations for barn construction for sheep and goat farming in organic agriculture were developed – taking into account the current legal situation. Experts from the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein contributed to the creation of this brochure.
