In addition to topics such as setting system boundaries and selecting environmental impact dimensions, the main focus was on discussing an initial draft of an assessment matrix. With the insights gained, the project team, consisting of staff from the German Environment Agency (UBA), the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), and the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein, can take further steps toward developing a concept for assessing the environmental impacts of digital technologies.
