Focus on stable climate

At the initiative of TGD Tirol, barn climate consultation days took place on Tyrolean cattle farms in January and February 2025 to support animal health through the best air quality.

In a collaboration between the construction advisory team, the management of the Tyrolean Chamber of Agriculture, and veterinarian Dr.Erika Gusterer from TGÖ (Animal Health Austria), barn climate investigations and assessments were carried out on the farms under the guidance of engineerIrene Mösenbacher (Institute for Animal, Technology and Environment) in order to make possible optimizations and recommendations.

The results of this trip were presented on March 8th at the Tyrolean Animal Health Day (Kundl, Tyrol) to a sold-out audience and discussed with 300 farmers. The Tyrolean Animal Health Service, headed by Dr. Christian Mader, and Animal Health Austria are important partners of the Raumberg-Gumpenstein House and promote animal health on farms through targeted consulting and training programs.
