To foster networking, we will begin the event with a large group. Depending on interest, participants will then have the opportunity to explore specific areas of the barn and exchange information. The program includes a tour of the organic pig barns, where, as a long-established operation, various structural solutions can be seen. You will also gain insight into the activities of our instituteand visit ongoing research projects.
The event will conclude with a presentation by the marketing organization Bioschwein Austria on the current market situation and marketing opportunities for organic pigs. This part of the event is aimed particularly at farmers interested in converting to organic farming.
