We offer your class the opportunity to delve into our subject areas within a well-organized framework. We have prepared over 20 hands-on workshops and invite you to customize your experience according to your preferences. Based on the workshops you select on the online registration form below, we will create a customized program, which you will receive by email after registration.
Organizational details (subject to change)
The event will take place regardless of the weather. Please bring appropriate clothing and rain gear! In case of heavy rain, some workshops will be moved indoors.
Lunch will be served between 12:00 and 13:00. We are happy to offer you a light snack (two Leberkäse rolls or cheese rolls and apple juice for €8.00 per portion). Please indicate the number of snack packs you require on the registration form. You will be met directly at the bus stop, where you can purchase the number of meal vouchers you have registered for in cash.
Selection of specialist stations
Please select from the specialist stations listed in the registration form
-- a maximum of 3 from priority 1 (you definitely want to see)
-- and from priority 2 (would also be interesting).
Stations will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. We reserve the right to replace overbooked stations with priority 2 specialist stations. A list of all available stations can be found in the registration form and in the program at the end of this article.
Upon arrival, you will be greeted by local guides who will lead your group throughout the day. The stations begin at 9:00 AM, every half hour. Each presentation lasts approximately 20 minutes, with time in between to move to the next station.
It is also possible to book a guided tour of our school area as a class or for individual interested parties.
Technical documents for download
at the HBLFA Raumberg-Gumpenstein. During these Science Days, students from our school visit the research areas and gain direct, hands-on insights into current agricultural research and experimentation. The materials are available for free download. They offer interested individuals and students a concise, up-to-date overview of the respective topic and can be used, for example, in the classroom.
