Influence of grassland reseeding on short-grass pasture

During the growing season, the composition of the sward, the total plant biomass production, and the plant height will be determined. This will allow for an assessment of the need for reseeding in short-grass pastures and an evaluation of the various reseeding methods and seed mixtures.

The aim of this study is to assess the effects of the reseeding mixtures on the plant stand and the reseeding success of the two reseeding techniques used. The effect of short-grass grazing on the plant stand will also be observed. Additional questions will address yields and plant constituents.
