Digitalization has become an integral part of our daily lives and has long since found its way into agriculture. The greatest benefits of digitalization in agriculture are seen in increased yields, a significant reduction in production inputs, and improved compliance with environmental regulations.

Within the framework of the "Digitalization in Agriculture" cluster, the HBLFA together with project partners UBA and AGES, is developing a concept and criteria for assessing the environmental impacts of using digital technologies. The creation of this environmental assessment concept should make it possible in the future to evaluate the practical relevance of using digital technologies from an environmental perspective.
