Solutions for grass silage, digestate hay, and corn silage were discussed in depth during a workshop on ensiling and silage evaluation . In the workshop, participants assessed silages of varying qualities using the ÖAG evaluation method (2020) and their own sensory evaluation. The sensory impressions of the preservation quality were highly diverse – ranging from excellent to spoiled – making it an ideal setting for such an event.
